^
At least in my school, seniors usually skip the day after prom. I don’t think they go down to OC for the weekend, though. That’s what Senior Week is for.

I’m not coming home with any STD’s. F that.

Senior Week is like the week after school ends. So like the first/second week of June. All the High Schools in MD are still in session but Seniors are off. So Ocean City has something called Senior Week. Thousands of H.S. Seniors go down to OC for the week and it is just nonstop shenanigans. Cops are basically arresting anyone who gets in a car. It is pretty dangerous though. Every year at least a couple kids get killed in various ways. It’s actually getting less popular recently because of this. Usually people will go down for like 4 days because it just gets to be too much.

Seniors in Georgia do their own thing after graduation. We do have Senior Skip Day where most people go to the beach.

^^Sounds like Woodstock '94 + Haymarket square

hatersunite:
“Cops are basically arresting anyone who gets in a car.”

Haha. Perfect description of Senior Week. I know this kid last year who got a football scholarship to Wake Forest. Tore his ACL running from the cops during Senior Week, though. Scholarship gone.

And yes, Senior Week is just nonstop shenanigans. Pretty much a week of straight drunkenness/getting high/partying.

We’re renting a house this year with a boat dock. I’m sure will find some way to put it to good use.

Probably the saddest thing I’ve ever heard

My teeny tiny senior class (of 20 people) is planning a trip to the beach, Port Aransas sometime in May. We’re super excited because it’s our school’s first official senior trip (we’re a fairly new school).

I am trying to get it so no school officials are coming, but then half the kids wouldn’t be able to come because of weird, strict, charter school parents. So if it turns into a school sanctioned trip I’ve decided I’m just gonna get my own hotel room and drive myself and hang out with them, but not go “with” the school, because I know I’m not going to follow their rules and they aren’t paying for anything either. 10 o’clock curfew my ass. I’ll be 18 years old with 2 weeks until graduation! ;)

AlexaMT: Amen!

Mapleleafs26: Yes, it is quite sad. But he got what he deserved.

in virginia we do beach week (aka senior week) and we rent a nice house in the outerbanks and go down the week right after graduation

well i guess the mid-atlantic has some form of senior week one way or another.

a bunch of kids getting *ed up at the beach at the end of senior year. sounds pretty standard. i’m guessing people on the left coast and florida kids just get *ed at the beach year round so no big deal for them.

But there is a major difference. In OC Beach Week Seniors have the entire city to themselves. Nobody else goes that week. Just tens of thousands of young drunk kids.

yeah except in jersey we go to seaside heights.

you caught me

Is smile talking to herself again?

BTW, I have no idea what seaside heights are but this is a stupid thread anyway. We need to start churning out some better threads.

talk about a double whammy

edit.
whatttttt

Actually no.

Give it up.

Everyone already ignored you the first time around.

Two replies that say hatersunite =/= baltimoron.
