Did anyone hear a confirmation for their RSVP yet? When do you think we'll know by?

Thanks in advance :]

Did anyone hear a confirmation for their RSVP yet? When do you think we'll know by?

Thanks in advance :]

nope. not yet… :0

Haha okay, thanks. Hopefully we hear soon! Congratulations on getting in =)

I didn’t hear from them for about a week and a half when I went last year, so no need to worry. It’s an awesome experience, by the way. :)

Maharba1147: Ohhh, okay! Thank you very much! Haha, if you didn’t tell me that, I would have been going crazy for the next week. Glad to hear it was awesome; I’m definitely excited! I’ve never visited the campus before.

Haha, no problem. I know I was very worrisome when awaiting a response. Hope you have fun this year! I think I might be helping out with RAZA’s activities. :)

Oh, do we get to interact and meet the people in different programs? I signed up for REACH!, but I hope we participate in activities with people of all cultures.

Ooh I signed up for the Black one. I forgot what it’s called I just remembered it was for African American students. I chose it because you get to stay till Sunday evening I believe (4 days instead of 3!) and a trip to SF.

I can’t wait!!! I hope I get it. I filled out my reservation a day after… so I hope I got it in time.

^ BRRC!

And maaae, the way I remember it, we didn’t really interact with other groups except for the first day when everyone meets in Haas Pavilion, and BRRC hosted a BBQ with RAZA last year, but they might switch it up. There’s also Cal Day, but even then we were left on our own to explore the clubs and orgs on campus.
I sent my RSVP a week after, so I’m sure you guys will be fine unless they’re short on hosts this year or something, but that’s unlikely. Good luck!

Thaaanks Maharba1147!

I got my confirmation and I’m going to RAZA…but ( I know it sounds stupid) where are we going to sleep on beds or floors?? because it says to bring a sleeping bag so idk…

Well, it’s not spring break or anything for them, so school will be in session which means they’re living in their dorms. I doubt they have enough empty dorm rooms to accommodate us all hence the sleeping bags.
Sometimes I forget to bring a pillow when sleeping over somewhere. So definitely make a comfortable place for yourself by bringing the sleeping bag and pillow :]

Is anyone able to print out the liability forms because I no longer have the links to those 3 forms when I go on the website. If you are able to access them still, please show me how. Thanks.

I’ve never heard of any of these programs!!!:( I checked the events page on myberkeleyapp and didn’t see any of these. Can someone let me know where to find more info??

Go to your messages and it should say…

“Join us for Senior Weekend 2010 and get a sneak peek at what life at Cal is really like! RSVP now…”

^ Thanks! But its odd since I don’t seem to have that under my messages. When is Senior Weekend 2010? I think I’ll call admissions tomorrow morning

It’s next thursday

Sorry for the constant questions, but is it related to the OHP next Friday-Saturday? It doesn’t seem like it, but is there a website that has info about the REACH? Do you think it would be too late if I RSVPed tomorrow?

Idk…but you should still call in and see what they say…

senior weekend is for people of color - native americans, latinos/mexicans, asian pacific islanders, and african americans.
