Senior year abroad in Germany?

Hello all -

I was accepted into CBYX, a ten-eleven month full scholarship study abroad trip to Germany. The program is funded by the U.S. Congress and German Bundestag. Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX)

Should I go?

The colleges I'm aiming for are the Ivy Leagues, and while I may not get all the AP education in Germany, I would try and enter and math/science specialized school in Germany.

How would you consider this program in terms of uniqueness? How would it help in my application?

Thanks!

BUMP!!

Please help me people!! I Need serious advice ASAP!!

if i were you, i would go. and in the mean time call the schools you hope to get into and ask them directly. talk to each department and find out which they would prefer. but personally, i would not miss a chance to live and study abroad—but i live in california and love the UC system, don’t care about the ivy leagues. good luck though. sounds like a lot of fun!

BUMP!

More advice would be appreciated…I still need more tips!

I am aiming for H/Y/MIT after this program and was wondering if it helps me build uniqueness and become a more compelling applicant (obviously with other interesting side things, good SAT scores, etc, etc)
