Senior Year and Off Rolls

I'm a junior currently in the process of selecting my courses for next year. My school goes by a block schedule, much like the one here:

So for my senior year, I'm currently planning on taking AP Bio, AP Gov, Brit. Lit., and a graphic design course. This leaves with me with one period available every quarter for a off roll, where I can basically leave school.

So my question is how much will colleges like UCLA or UC Berkeley (my first choice) take these off rolls into consideration?

My GPA is 4.1 weighted and 3.8 unweighted. I have taken the following AP courses: Calc AB, Calc BC, CompSci AB, Physics B, Physics C, and Chemistry. I have scored ~2100 on the SAT I and ~800 on the math and physics SAT II.

So what do you guys think? With my current stats, will 4 off rolls my senior year be detrimental to how colleges look at me?

I doubt it will be a detriment to your application. At my school we don’t have block scheduling so we have 9 periods a day, but if their grades are high enough, seniors can leave school a period early, which is what I am doing. Usually, I just go to work during Early Release (which is what we call it). I’ve gotten into all of the schools I applied to so far, still waiting on the last one.

As long as your grades stay up and you still stay involved with extracurriculars, you’ll be fine.

That’s a bit of a relief to hear. Any other opinions?
