Senior year AP class grades

So I've recently received a C for AP Government as the final semester grade. My teacher was pretty difficult/unfair/vague and whatnot, so even if I don't agree with my grade, it's probably not going to change. Although I'm a bit weak in social sciences, I really did put a lot of effort into this class. Probably more so than any of my other classes, ironically.

I've applied to USC and five other UC's (Irvine, San Diego, L.A., Cal, and Davis). I will most likely be receiving A's in all of my other AP classes, which include physics, statistics, biology, and English for the rest of the first semester. So does getting this one C affect my chances of getting into any of those colleges?

My overall GPA up until the end of junior year is around a 3.8 or so, and I applied for Biochemistry/Molecular biology as my major for all of my choices.

I doubt this will screw you over completely, but it definitely isn’t going to help you and will almost certainly hurt you a bit.

Check your school’s student handbook and see if there’s a grade appeal policy. If you think the grade is unfair, you may be able to formally appeal it and get it changed. Act on this quickly, though, as most schools give you only a set amount of time to indicate your intent to appeal after receiving the grade.
