Senior Year AP Classes

I need help deciding on which classes I should take next year. This year, I took APUSH, AP Physics, and AP Psych. I totally regret taking physics instead of chem or bio this year. This year, I’ve realized how I truly want to go into the medical field. I’ve always found sciences interesting, even if I have to work a bit harder to get the A in those classes. (Physics, however, is a whole different story and I honestly had no clue what was going on all year).

Anyways, I didn’t know if I should take AP Bio or Chem during my senior year. In my school, I heard the bio class is super hard because the teacher gives a lot of work and you have to learn by yourself a lot and etc. I heard chem is also hard, but the teacher is super good, and will help you a lot if you ask him for it. I took HN bio freshman year, and HN chem sophomore year. I was better at bio, and had to work a little harder in chem but it wasn’t so bad. I’m interested in both though, and I want to have a good foundation on both before college. So would it be overkill to try and take both at the same time…? If not which would be more beneficial for me in the long run?

If I take both, I would also take AP gov, and Calc AB instead of BC. If I only take either chem or bio, I would take AP Gov, Calc BC and AP Stat. Basically I want to have 4 AP’s for my senior year (It’s more than my junior year, and plus I get a free period.)

I’m basically really lost atm and don’t know what to do at all. If I could get some insight from someone who has taken both, or can just help me in general I would really appreciate that!

Yes, AP bio and AP chemistry are extremely rigorous and when you add lab time, it’s just too time intensive.
You’ll only need two semesters of bio as a premed, whereas five courses will he chemistry related so I’d recommend taking AP chemistry.
Add AP gov, AP calculus (AB or BC). No need to take stats unless you’re very interested in the subject because you’ll have to take it in college anyway.
