Is it worth taking AP/IB courses my senior year if I am not planning on taking the classes for college credit? Do colleges still care if you take challenging courses your senior year or not as much compared to other years? I really don't feel like taking another year of an AP english class where I don't get anything out of it anyways.

Yes it is worth taking AP courses your senior year even if you’re not getting college credit. Colleges still take a look at how you are challenging yourself that last year. Ok, if you don’t like English, take a different AP class, just make sure you take some AP classes.

Yes, definitely! In fact, I took the most AP classes my senior year. Colleges do look at your first semester grades of your senior year in deciding your admission. If you challenge yourself, you have a better chance of getting in the better colleges.
