senior year ap)self-study) worth it??

im gonna be a senior this year and i wat to get into the bs/md program. its VERY competitive(like all med schools) and i only have ap english lang. & next year im taking ap english lit & chem...i was wonderng would it be worth it to self study bio(i had honor bio this past year) so i have another science class or is it useless?

what school is this btw?

If you're doing it to impress the college: DON'T how will they know you actually "self-studied" it? They have no proof.

Also I don't think ONE class will make the difference between acceptance and rejection. I hate to give you a textbook answer, but your SAT, SATII"S, AP scores, grades, gpa, essay, gpa, and possibly interview will probably make you or break you.

Hope this kinda helps :)

Good Luck, I hope for your sake you get admitted :)

yeah, i agree it would be worthless to take it, unless you're in a program and the grades show up on your transcript.

thnx i guess im just gonna take the time i would be using to self-study and concentrate on my actual classes & sat prep so i can raise my sat score because i dont like them lol.maybe do some clinic volunteer. i think that would look better than an extra science class lol.

yes, dont self study!!! it will be a waste of time and you'll be getting senioritis and will slack off!

probably because the course does not show on your transcript, meaning that you haven't taken the course, but you took the exam.

i don't think it's really that of a big advantage, but w/e.
