Senior Year APs

Hi. I know it’s far away but I was wondering if this would be too many APs senior year?
AP Calculus AB
AP Psych
AP Stats
AP Gov/Macroeconomics (One course)
AP English Language
Planning on a Poly Sci major but, obviously, may/will change.
Thanks!

5 APs is not unreasonable, but I wonder about taking AP Calc and AP Stats simultaneously? Both classes take a lot of time and effort. If you are particularly great at math, then go for it; but if you have any doubts at all, I’d drop AP Stats. You shouldn’t have a problem with the rest of them.

It might be. Some students have no problem with 5, while others struggle with one. We have no idea which category the OP falls into.

I will, however, say that the OP may have forgotten the hidden Fall Semester class: College Applications and Essays. Every riding senior, IME, underestimates the time and effort these will take.

I will also say that AP stats is the most expendable on your list if you find yourself in a bind. Calc-based statistics in college will probably be better for your long-term plans.

Ok. The problem with that is it would require summer pre calc. I could also do Pre calc honors and AP Stats instead. I can handle APs. I am pretty smart (I.e. Mid to High 90s in all classes) and I don’t really want to ruin my summer by taking summer pre calc. That would leave me with:
Pre Calc Honors
Physics
AP Psych
AP Lang
AP Gov/Macroeconomics
AP Stats
Religion 12 Honors (potentially, EXTREMELY selective class. Taught by a local college.)

What grade are you in right now? What classes have you taken through high school?

I think it is very good to try to take Calc in HS. I would say it would be worth taking Pre-calc over the summer.
I would ditch AP stats, and try to take an AP science.
Have you taken APUSH and AP World? If not, then consider those.
