Senior Year Class Change Help

Hi. I'm a senior at a certain high school but I have one BIG problem. In all my college admissions, I have stated that I will be taking Calculus. This class is a class that is technically Math 150A at a Cal State. I received a D- in that class and I dropped 2nd semester because I did not fulfill the requirements to go onto Math 150B. I need to notify all the colleges about my schedule change.

I am planning to take Japanese 2 at a local Junior college to show my schools that I am taking Japanese 2 to prove that I'm taking another college class to rebound on my D-.

I was wondering what I should write on the letter to notify all my colleges.
I need to mention about how I dropped the class and how I'm taking Japanese 2 to rebound the D-.

The bigger problem is, I just received an acceptance letter from UC Riverside even though I haven't sent the letter yet.

What should I do?
My counselors say I should send the letter ASAP. But I have no idea about what to say on the letter.

Please help me out.

Your counselor is right. Students should notify colleges they've applied to or been accepted to of any changes to core academic courses in the second semester. This is particularly true for the UC's == they really dislike being surprised. I would let UC Riverside know as soon as possible. It probably won't be a major thing if you didn't need the course to satisfy your A-G requirements, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

So, listen to your GC. Contact UC Riverside. Chances are they'll tell you it is no biggie, and you can then relax. Better to do it, then to sit and stew with worry.

well what should i say to them?
I actually had to deal with a death of a close friend a week before finals. Also I came down with the flu and the stomach flu two days before my Calculus final.

I need step by step help.
Please help me out!
