So im thinking of taking AP Physics, AP Calc A/B, AP Gov, AP Bio, and either AP Psych or AP Stats.
So at my high school, there is a limited amount of people able to take AP Psych, and lets just say I didn’t get picked, Should I double up on Math and take AP Stats too? Im trying to go all out senior year since I messed up sophomore year. My last question is, do you think doubling up on math is doable?
i took stats and precalc soph year and it wasnt bad, stats is a different kind of math so its not bad. I wouldnt kil yourself to hard your senior year, you will get lazy
ok thanks for the advice
Going all out senior year is not a good idea. Limit yourself to 4 AP 's and do well in them. While course rigor is looking kid at, an overwhelming schedule leading tobacco D second semester means being rescinded from wherever you got in, and it’s more frequent than you think. In addition, you’ll have a hidden writing intensive classes class called 'college apps '…
I’d stick to ap calculus, AP gov, ap physics 1, plus one.
I would recommend choosing a senior year schedule based on your strengths. As someone who loves history and bio, mine was: AP Calc AB, AP Bio, AP Lit, AP Spanish, two honors history seminars, and music/dance electives.
You don’t need to go all out to impress colleges- 4-5 APs is plenty rigor, and you will also have to write college essays (unless you are pro-active and get most of them done in august, like I did).
Thank you so much, I’ve been stressing out. I really wanna learn stats, becuase i might major in either science or finance maybe Econ. Do you think i should take Stats at a community college during the summer? Will it be too hard?

You will need to take stats in college. You could indeed take it over the summer at a CC.
Would it be harder for stats over the summer, or ap stats?
You have to think of how busy/stressed youll be in the fall and spring when applying for colleges/waiting to hear back from them. You don’t want to have the weight of all those AP’s on you when you also have to write essays and apply for colleges. That said, I took 5- AP Gov, AP Macro, AP Lit, AP Enviro, and AP Bio. But, those classes were all my strengths and I have 2 off periods that balance it out. I also did most of my college apps in August/September before I got too busy.
stats over the summer would be a harder course, but the full schedule for the year is harder making it the straw that may break the camel’s back.
