These are the classes I’m taking my senior year of high school. I just wanted to know your opinions on them? Do you think it’ll look good to colleges? Thanks!
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature
AP Spanish
Spanish 5 (Honors)
Civics & Economics (Honors)
Physics (Honors)
My only concern is that you have sufficient time in the fall to write all of your applications and make any college visits you deem necessary. It may be difficult taking an all AP load, maybe consider dropping a class.
That’s a lot, especially for one year. Why are you taking both Honors Spanish 5 and AP Spanish at the same time? Are you against dropping one of your AP classes and taking an Honors level course instead? I don’t want to tell you to not take all of the classes listed above, but it’s important to leave ample time for college applications, essays, and other college-related activities.
You should be fine. My son has similar classes. 5 APs plus 2 english/writing classes. He is finishing HS a year earlier. He will have SAT and PSAT around the same time.
I have to take Honors Spanish 5 and AP Spanish because they’re paired classes. So I take Honors Spanish 5 the first semester and AP Spanish the second semester. I’m not going to have all my AP classes in one semester, I just listed them that way. And I agree with you guys that it’s important to have time for essays and all that, but I’m a pretty organized person and I’m sure I can manage it. Thanks for the help though. @LionKing2398@NASA2014@TooOld4School
