Senior Year Course Selection - APs, etc.

I have somewhat of a dilemma. This year (junior) I am taking AP U.S. and AP Calc AB. Next year, I am going to take AP Comp Lit, Calc BC, and then I'm not sure. I can take either Psych or Physics (I don't want to take Bio, Chem, Stat for various reasons.) I assume Physics would look more impressive to colleges? I'm pretty sure that I'd be equally happy in either one. I can also take both, but there are other classes (non-AP) that I'd rather take, and I'd rather not fill up my schedule that much; it is senior year after all and I play sports and work.

Also, I believe my school offers about 10 AP courses - languages not included. If I have taken half of them upon graduation (almost nobody takes APs till junior year), is this going to make me look below average, average, above average on college apps? I'll probably be applying to schools like BU, Tufts, Northeastern- 1300-1400 SAT range.

So basically I'm feeling kind of stuck and am wondering if anyone has any opinions or ideas. Thanks.

Anybody? Or does a lack of responses just mean that it doesn't really matter...that is fine too. :)

if you can handle physics, take it because it will look more challenging than psych. (i personally would take psych, just cus it seems a little more interesting then physics) as for the 10 aps, if your school only offers 10 and you take 5 then you will be fine. it just depends on how many your school offers, so if you will probably be fine for BU and probably tufts, and northwestern too if you get a 1350ish sat. hows calc ab going? im taking that next year.

Thanks for the response. I have an A in Calc and it isn't that hard in my opinion. I have a good teacher though, and he explains things really well. I generally pick it up when he goes over each lesson and barely ever struggle do complete homework. It's definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be, IMO.

yeah i decided to take ab instead of bc next year.
