Senior Year Courseload & Summer Courses?

1) For my senior year, I'm going to be taking all AP Classes except for Driver's Ed and another half-credit class. Is this going to look good on my application, or am I just going to end up failing every class?

2) I heard about summer courses at local colleges that are available for high school students. For example, one of the courses is called "Intro To College Studies" or something like that, and it's held at a community college during the summer. Would taking a few of these classes look good on my application, or would I be wasting my time?

Bump. Gotta get an answer soon, because I’m doing course registrations tomorrow!!

How about doing something you want to do instead of counting on us?

Uh…there’s definitely a difference between “asking for advice” and “counting on” you in case you haven’t already figured that out.

1) What is the exact schedule?
2) “Intro to College Studies” sounds dull and useless. If there are some other classes that interest you and you have nothing else to do in the summer they could be a good option. They will look moderately good if you get As. They will be inconsequential/slightly negative if you get Bs. If you think there is a chance you’ll get lower than that, do not take them.

1) Most (if not all) of the classes are Mon-Thurs and most classes are 2h 45min.

2) There are actually courses related to economics, engineering, anthropology, etc. They’re all entry level courses. The first course that any student takes is free, but after that it’s $288 per credit. The reason that I mentioned “Intro to Colllege Studies” was because after taking that class, students are awarded an extra free college course.
