off period

Does this look really bad haha when colleges look at it? Should I drop the off period for AP art history instead?

My school actually offers alot of AP courses haha. I'm just an extremely english & math oriented person and the extra non-core AP courses always just cover history and science.

Hmm but if I do have that off period, I'll have 3 periods off at the end of the day (lunch, ISM, off period) and thus would be able to do co-op with Nasa or Boeing.

At a top university: average to below average

You should definitely take something in your off period. Do you have a real interest in art? If you don't, I would suggest taking something more academic. I would suggest one of the AP sciences.

But then again, it really depends on where you want to go to college. Furthermore, it depends on what your academic interests are as well.

errr my senior year i took 4 classes and none of my acceptances got rescieded - evne got an early admit at williams :D just gotta play ur cards right

Hm, your schedule makes mine look like a joke...and I've already gotten into some good schools. No Harvards or anything, but good schools nonetheless. ;) I wouldn't worry about it. I really only have 4 'real' classes this year and an art class, senior home ec, etc. :D

your schedule seems fine to me, but it depends what kind of school you go to. I know a few girls from my school who got into schools such as Yale with only 1 or 2 APs senior year (they arent URMs or athletes or anything), but APs at my school are reeallly demanding.
