Senior Year GPA

I know that during your senior year, you must maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to maintain your elgibility for the UCs. Does this mean you can’t get a D or F? What if you get a C in an AP/Honors class?

You must maintain a 3.0 AND no D's or F's.

Do they care if you get a C?

I might get a C in AP Physics =/

1 c shouldn't kill you as long as you keep the 3.0 unweighted. many college freshman who were high school seniors at my school last year got Cs in ap calculus and were fine.

It depends on how you come out of the application process. If a UC sends you a letter asking for further clarification of your application, they may hold off on accepting you until they look at your mid-year grades. For the unfortunate kids in that situation a C could be a deal killer. It is wise not to slack off until after mid-year. Do not get any D's or F's at all even in the second half of the year. A D or F grade will most likely bring about rescindment of your acceptance. Your SIR is a contract and that is a condition.
