Senior Year GPA

First off - I'm currently a junior.

If you apply ED, i'm guessing your senior year GPA wouldn't have much of an affect on your application process. However if you apply RD, is the midyear report calculated into your cumulative GPA?

I'm saying this because I need to really drag up my freshman/sophomore year GPA. My junior year is going to be good, but I think my senior year grades can only help me more with continuation of my upward trend and GPA.

And if it matters, my actual GPA #'s look like this
freshman - 3.45
sophomore - 3.55
junior - 3.9 (so far, hate to be speculative, but I can't see it dropping)

I applies to colleges with rolling admissions, and I did it before the semester grades came out.... on purpose. Depending on the colleges deadlines and the and when your grades come out you could potentially have some senior year grades on the transcript you send in.

That upward trend will work for you though, I personally would only wait if you know that you'll need those grades to stand a chance at admission.

For ED at my school, the last grades the school sees are mid-semester grades.
