Senior year grade req... not SPECIFIED?!

I just went through the website and it said that we must maintain a "B" average.

But it doesn't specify if it's WEIGHTED or UNWEIGHTED.

oh God, I'm freakin' out now because I don't know if I can manage an UW 3.0.

Does anyone know for sure?

Also, on the app I listed a course as Trigonometry 1 and Trigonometry 2. However, it turns out it the courses were: Trigonometry 1 and Pre-Calclus 1. Should I inform them of that? If I should, do I email them or call them?

probably Weighted

and if its not.. then im screwed because i got a 2.83 1st sem

currently have terrible grades 2nd semester as well

I'm pretty sure it's weighted (I know for UCI it is). As far as the Trig 2 and Pre Calc I don't think it matters because generally after trig 1st semester you take pre calc in the spring.

at ucla the requirement is a unweighted B average, so ucsb is probably the same. But you should call ucsb to check for sure.

the ucla website that says this is at http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Changes_Freshmen.htm

The UCLA requirement is probably not the same. My Irvine contract specifically states a WEIGHTED 3.0, and if UCSB is anything like Irvine, which I'm sure it is considering they're both tier 2 UCs, then it will be a weighted 3.0

Yeah, UCSB doesn't clear it up... it only says "keep a B average."

It doesn't say weighted or unweighted.

Don't see anything about weighted here. Maybe your contract was different.

I remember kids last year saying UCI's was weighted. And by 3.0 they probably mean a UC 3.0..........

Uhm, I posted that part of my contract in the UC general forum. Do I need to take a picture or something? XD It's weighted according to the contract I received, and I think UCSB would be too.

UCI is weighted, it says so.

But UCSB doesn't say so.
