senior year grades help

Hi.

I have a 4.39 weighted and 3.77 unweighted until junior year. I've taken 6 AP's, gotten 5's on all except 2. 800CR, 760M, 710W (essay 9), National merit semifinalist, great recs, pretty good essays, member of preprofessional orchestra, concertmaster at high school orchestra, co-prez of academic decathlon, sent in a music supplement. Los Angeles resident, East asian, very good public HS, top 10%

HOWEVER,

Senior year grades
AP Spanish C
AP Physics B
AP Government A
AP English B
AP Computer science A
Orchestra A

That brings my senior year GPA to a 4.17
How bad would it influence my profile?

I know UC's don't look at senior year unless you get D or something( i know plenty of friends who got into berkeley and had 2C's) How about cornell, MIT deferred, yale, NW, and stanford?

I honestly don’t know, but you made me feel 100% better about my B+ in AP Calc as an engineering major & a fellow Cornell & Stanford applicant. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt, plus your other stats may just prove that your HS is tough

EDIT: The only thing that puzzles me is the C in Spanish. Is it really that hard at your school or are you just not good at languages?

Don’t worry!

Berkeley is a great school!

im terrible at languages

it also doesnt help that spanish is my 3rd langauge, English being my second…

Can i at least get cornell guaranteed transfer? i dont think i can be any happier if i got guaranteed transfer…unless some major miracle happens and I get into MIT :/

=( you’re not hopeless. And if it’s your 3rd language, they’ll probably take that into consideration

thx bumpb umpbmup
