Senior year grades...not so good...

My senior year hasn't been going exactly how I planned, and my grades are suffering. A couple weeks ago I dropped Physics regents (I was failing), and my first semester Pre-calc average will be around a 73...My other second quarter grades have been solid though:

AP English: around a 97
AP Spanish: around a 90
Politics: 87-90
IB Theory of knowledge: 90-95
Courses to be taken in 2nd semester: Physics of sport, Psych, Economics.
*My overall grade for the first quarter was an 84.7. My HS gpa before senior year was a 90. If my physics grade doesn't get put on my report card, then my second quarter average should be around an 86-88. And if it matters at all, my intended major is Journalism/English.

How much will these grades hurt me? Is it enough to get revoked/rejected? My list of schools is below.

UMCP
Elon
IU-B
Albany
JMU
Guilford
Lewis&Clark

hump de bump

anyone?

...

Don't get a c....i'll leave it at that

All the schools you listed are probably fits: you've got at least a 50% chance at all of them. I can't imagine that, with your obvious specialization in English, they'd look harshly on certain 'imperfections' in other areas of your transcript.

i think C is ok just don't get a D or have a gpa below 3.0
