I applied ed to a school and they want my first quarter grades. I am a usual A to A- student with the occassional b+. Last year I took 2 ap classes, so this year i though it would be a good idea to take 5, this plan has backfired on me as I have been really busy and pulling like 85's in all of them. Is this going to effect my admissions status, I feel like it is going to look like senioritis when in reality I am taking really hard courses including ap physics and multivariable calculus, while now working 30 hours a week. What do you guys think?

Your ED school will consider the rigor of your courses when evaluating your grades. It would be better to have As, but selective schools definitely prefer for you to take AP classes.

What griffen said.

I had the opposite happen to me. I took 4 APs and had the best quarter of my high school career (I guess I function better under stress). However, my school won’t calculate class rank until the end of the semester and they don’t include full year classes in the calculation, so my class rank won’t go up (class rank is the weakest part of my app). So yeah, senior year sucks!

Omg you will not get in anywhere. Your life is over I’m afraid. :(
