Senior year grades

I have read around that Penn state does not look at the final year grades and they only want to look if you graduated from high school. Is that true? I am asking that for two reasons:

1st because I am a bit worried if something goes wrong with my grades (possibly wont until now all straight As) and 2nd because here in Greece we get the final year grades late in the summer and will take some days until I get them translated by the ministry of foreign affairs so if Penn state needs only a confirmation that I graduated I will have the schools principal to write a letter confirming that I graduated.

I think in the acceptance letter it says Pitt wants your final grades most do.

They will want a final copy of your transcript, but as an international student, they realize that there might be a delay. So, in the mean time, a letter from the principal stating that you have graduated and listing your final grades should be fine.

BUT - don’t take my word for it. Contact the admissions people and find out for certain.

In my acceptance letter there was nothing regarding the grades (I didn’t receive it by mail, I downloaded from the mypenn web site)

All school require a final high school transcript.

Ok thanks for the help guys.
