My mid-semester grades came out today and they were really good (better than my junior year grades actually). However I've heard that UMich doesn't consider senior year grades in the admissions process? Is this true? I'll be applying Early Action so if it helps I plan on sending these grades in before my application gets reviewed.

Mid-semester grades won’t be counted. However, if you apply EA and don’t get accepted you will most likely get deferred, at that point your first semester senior grades will count. You need to keep up the hard work and try to get the best grades you possibly can in case you don’t get admitted EA.
