for university of michigan, UCs, do they look at your senior year first semester grades?

Not for acceptance, no, but for entrance and admissions, yes. Basically, for the UCs, you must turn over your final transcript (and senior year grades) by the time you matriculate (if you decide to).

However, for the purposes of your evaluation, I believe that only Grades 9-11 are required. Although, I have that advantage of having the 12th grade first semester grades out already (bah to track schools, LAUSD education.)

The last grades the UCs consider are your first semester senior year grades. You turn in a final transcripts and they look at your second semester grades to make sure you dont dip below a certain gpa, but your second semester grades aren't a factor for their admission decisions.

Umm...how would they consider 1st semester senior grades? They don't request a mid-year report.
