Hey, I know it’s early on in the school year but I’m worried about first quarter/semester senior year grades. I’m taking 3 AP classes and the rest are honors. While I think I should get an A in most of the classes and an A- in one or two, I’m really worried about my AB Calc class. If i end first quarter with a B or B+ in calc but high As in the rest of my classes, do i still stand a chance for selective colleges? I’m not planning on majoring in anything math related, but I’m still concerned.
One B is not going to be a deal breaker as you’ve had four years to build your app profile.
Also, if you aren’t applying ED, colleges will only see your mid-year (end of semester) grades anyway so you might be able to get to a A- by then anyway?
Relax and do your best.
Thank you! Haha you’re right I really do need to just chill I just didn’t have a great freshmen year, while my sophomore and junior years were pretty solid, I was hoping senior year could kinda balance it out.
