senior year grades

Do all colleges require me to send my senior year grades to them. I know I send my first semester grades, but what bout final year grades?

Not all colleges require you to send mid yr grades to them. The same goes with the final grades.

just check the colleges you applied to-- if the info is not online, call them to make sure.

It depends on the school, but I would call each admissions office just to be sure (thats what I did and it really helped clarify things). I know all Common App schools want mid year and final grades.

May I ask, would it be wrong NOT to submit the final year grades even if they are available before the deadline?

many schools do require your mid-year grades (7th semester transcripts). See your GC to make sure that they are sent.

Since your college admission is contingent on your successfully completing high school, yes, your GC will have to send in your final transcript and proof that you have graduated.

admission decision for most colleges will be out before your final grades are available.... you will only need to send the final year report to the one college you decide to attend...

Remember that admissions decisions are contingent... on successfully completing your Sr. year. For some colleges, that means no Ds or else you might be OUT pending explanation. For others a D means they will ask you to see the academic advising office once you arrive because you might be at risk and need guidance once in their college. An F means no class credit so unless a student has surpuls credits, it can cause an admission to be rescinded for failure to graduate.
