Senior year grades

Hey everyone,

Ive been accepted to UCLA and am considering attending this school. On the provisional contract it says that I have to maintain a 3.0 UNWEIGHTED GPA. Is that for every semester or total by the end of senior year (e.g, 2.8 first semester, 3.0 second semester).

Last semester I had a 3.2 unweighted and earned a C in a course. This semester, if worse comes to worst, I will end up with 2 Cs (making my unweighted a 3.0 this semester). Is there a limit as to how many Cs you can get?

Thank You Very Much!

you can get Cs… just dont get any grade lower than a C. and maintain a good GPA whatever is on the provisional contract. otherwise, youd have to notify UCLA about this… and they might revoke their offer of admission

yeah true. but do u know if its 3.0 each semester or 3.0 overall? Im vying for a 3.0 this semester

You need to maintain an OVERALL unweighed GPA of 3.0, that means the average of the 2 semesters. However, you cannot get more than 2 C’s per semester, and no more than 3 C’s for the total year. And last but not least, you cannot get D’s or F’s. One D or one F will get you rescinded, regardless of your GPA.

“However, you cannot get more than 2 C’s per semester, and no more than 3 C’s for the total year.”

where do you get this from?
