will Penn admissions consider my senior year grades if I am applying ED?
my current gpa is 3.6(unweighted)/4.6(weighted), so i'm not slacking off, I'm just curious

They won’t see your first semester grades before the ED offer deadline. If you are deferred, then those grades could be very important in swaying their decision one way or the other.

will they see what classes I’m taking?

^ nvm, i found the section on the commonapp

Will they consider the first quarter grades for ED then? First quarter grades come out next week…

yeah can someone answer elec’s question?

I suppose no?
I have the same question, but from what I’ve heard they should only look at your transcripts, which only have your semester grades on them, not grade report which includes your quarter grade

Thanks rukimakino! I hope you’re right. I have 3 B+ and an A… but I’m totally not slacking off. It would not do any good if Penn sees those grades.
Anyone else can provide some insight?

Hey elec i think your best bet would be to contact your counselor and ask him if he/she was told to send something out to Penn… Penn wouldnt be able to get any of your information without contacting your school anyways

hope that helps
