Senior Year Planning?

Hey guys,

I’ve lurked on these forums for awhile, but never made an account or posted anything, so here goes. I’m currently a sophomore at a (considerably competitive) public high school. I’m a sucker for early planning, and I’m trying to figure out what science class I should take in senior year. Here’s the thing: most students here take APES senior year, as the teachers here make it amazingly fun. It’s a class that interests me but… I’m already self-studying and taking the class for it this year. Would it be stupid to take it anyways? Only real alternative is Physics (which is notoriously difficult here) or a class at the local CC.

Here’s what I’ve taken/am planning on taken so far:

Freshman:
-English
-Modern World History
-Newspaper
-Algebra 2 H
-PE
-Biology (Concurrently self-studied AP Biology)

Sophomore:
-English H
-Newspaper
-Advanced Chinese (Concurrently self-studying AP Chinese)
-Chemistry H
-AP Computer Science
-Precalc
-Self-studying APES

Junior:
-AP Eng Lang
-AP Calculus AB (Might self-study BC while I’m at it)
-AP Chemistry
-Newspaper
-AP US History
-Engineering

Senior:
-AP Eng Lit
-Either AP Calc BC or Multivariable
-Either AP Physics, Physics H, or APES
-AP US Government/Politics and Economics (1 semester each)
-Newspaper
-Engineering

Some opinions please? Planning to be a Computer Science major if that helps. Thanks guys! I appreciate it

Take AP Physics…you will probably have to take physics in college…be prepared.

Isn’t calc BC a prerequisite for Multivariable Calc?
