Senior year questions

I am a junior and I am starting to choose my senior year classes and I have a few questions… Brown is my dream school so I want to make sure I’m on the right track–
For calc and physics, I have to decide between AP Physics B or C (C uses calculus) and AP Calc AB or BC - all 4 are taught as University of Connecticut courses so no matter what I choose I will be getting college credit for them. Is Physics B considered less “vigorous” than C? Is Calc AB considered less impressive than BC since my school is on a trimester system and AB is two trimesters while BC is all 3?
I am leaning toward Physics C and Calc AB… my calc decision is mostly based on the fact that I will be enrolled in all APs next year and I don’t even think I have room for the extra trimester! If it helps, I am still undecided in what I want to pursue for a major but I definitely do not gravitate toward math or science, but I have gotten all A’s in my math/science classes in the past.

Also, as I am figuring out my recommendations, is it true that one math/science rec, one lit/history, and one guidance counselor are preferred? I feel like my lit and history teachers know me better than either of my math or science, so I am worried about what to do if I need a recommendation from one of them!

Thanks!

Physics C is not harder than Physics B. Physics C covers fewer topics with calculus while Physics B covers more topics without calculus. People usually choose between the two depending on what they want to go into in the future.

Calc BC is supposed to be harder than AB because more topics are covered in BC. AB and BC generally learn the same things, except AB stops earlier while BC continues more in depth.

Only UChicago (that i know of) cares about one math/science and one lit/history. Harvard wants one rec from different subjects, but they don’t say specifically which ones. Some med programs may also want an english rec.

mit as well wants and eng/history rec
and it depends what you want to o. if you are going into math/physics/engineering, go with C and Rc. but if not its your choice both will look good because even though B and AB arent as hard/in dpeth, they are not my any means easy courses at all. my school doesnt offer C or BC so i was stuck with the other 2
