AP Calc AB
AP Eng Lit
AP Bio
AP Physics C: Mech (whole year)
AP Envir. Science
part-time job

My question: Should I drop AP Environmental Science and just take a blowoff type regular non-AP class????? is my schedule too much???

btw, i am the high achieving kid that wants to learn and go to hopefully an ivy league so I want to present myself to colleges in the best light possilbe....

however, I am worried that I wont be able to find time for all the homework, job, and college applications.......any thoughts???

This is a silly question because this depends on you, your free time, and the difficulty of your classes. Not everyone’s situation is the same.

If you feel you won’t have enough time, then drop APs or cut back on the job. Does your school allow you to switch around classes early in the school year? If so, you could try out your schedule, but if it’s too demanding you could change it around.

I think you should drop AP ES (my opinion). It is a rather easy class and if you drop it you’ll have more freetime to work on the your college ap + you can just self study it and get a 5 and put that on your ap.

academicterror- i was thinking that too, but if I drop it, will my schedule not look rigorous enough since I only have 5 classes too. I only took 2 APs junior year and i sort of want to make up for that. so will it reflect in a negative way to ivy leagues or etc?

Paki, do you live in the sterling heights/shelby area? lol I can pretty much tell by your username. What school do you go to? o and by the way, i would drop env. science for ap chem
