Hi, so my goal is to get in to UT Austin, but I'm not top 7% (auto- admit) so I have my work cut out for me. My problem is, I'm not sure how to make my senior schedule seem the most challenging/appealing, or whatever, while at the same time, not killing myself.

This is what I put on my course selection card today:

AP English 4
AP Gov (1st semester)
Dual Credit online Econ (2nd semester)
AP Calc AB
Advanced Anatomy
Band
PAL 2 (Peer Assistance Leadership... like a mentoring class to younger students)
AP psychology (1st semester)
Speech (2nd semester, required credit.)

However, I'm having second thoughts about a few things.

I SUCK at math... I'm barely pulling a high C in Pre AP pre cal right now. Would taking AP Stats instead be a better decision?

I took 3 years of spanish, and 1 year of advanced French this year. It's an easy grade, I've had a 100 all year long. Should I replace Psych and speech with advanced French 2? My mom says it will make me seem cultured and that colleges like foreign languages, but I'm afraid it won't look as good as AP's.

Instead of advanced anatomy (taught like a Pre AP class and worth the same amount of GPA points), should I replace it with a class like AP Bio or AP Environmental? Will that look more competitive?

I would eventually like to get my degree in something that will allow mw to have a job in medicine. I know that's vague, but I really don't know...

Thanks for the help!
