Senior Year Schedule Problem

Next year will be my senior year. I made my schedule but now that it is summer I am not sure I made the right decision in dropping one of my AP's for another AP course. I usually take honors and regular college prep courses. My junior year I decided to take AP Psychology and did very well but I did not take the exam. I also took Honors Chemistry and Honors American Literature.

Now here is my problem. Every year I am recommended for an AP History course due to very high grades in my regular history courses. Every year I refuse, and say I would rather an easy A. This year my teacher was really pushing me towards AP US Government and Politics, believing I have talent. I am not a fan of Gov't & Politics, but AP or not I still have to take the course. I went to all of my past history teachers and even the AP Gov't teacher. They were all very reassuring in telling me they think I will do very well. I am just very torn up in what to do. I hear the teacher isn't very good and the class is very hard. Having met with the teacher I in fact really like him & get along with him. My brother also took the course and received a 5. Summer came along and seeing all the summer assignments we have to do I just completely freaked out and emailed my counselor to remove the course. In doing so I now regret my decision. I picked up AP Environmental Science. I hear the class is fun and interesting. I also considered a major in marine biology. Thinking APES could give me a feel of the science involved. only lately my science and math grades haven't been fairing to well. So now I don't even know what I want to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I am so lost right now.

Ap enviro looks better

I just posted in your other thread, but then thought of something. Would it be possible for you to take a different ap history course - one that you’d actually be interested in?

By the way to answer this question. No I actually looked at that but we can’t its either regular Economics & Politics or AP Government & Politics. No honors no honors/humanities (English&History but weighted as Honors). I Just feel like I am letting myself & everyone else down. Going all for years in high school in a regular history course never stepping up never giving it a try. I thought of dropping AP Lit and keeping AP Gov & APES. But I wanted to take AP Lit for years. APES does fit in my schedule better (only the period for AP Gov is left open). I just kinda wish I could take all 3 but every is saying its a death sentence and seeing its so late in summer already its not very possible. So that is my question I guess go up in classes I am good at (history & English) or take APES. Although there is not much of a purpose for APES besides its easy & might be better for my desired major. Although I have taken honors Science my entire high school career as with English. AP Gov & AP Lit are both hard but they are in areas I tend to be naturally better at and enjoy more so. ( I also take these classes for a challenge I actually never intended to fluff my transcripts or whatever I never even intended to take any AP exams until this year.) Sorry this was very long by the way! - Taylor
