Senior year schedule rigorous enough???

i plan on applying to top 30 colleges.. does this look like a "wussy" senior year schedule?

German 4
AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Econ
AP Enviro
Calc AB

i am worried about Ap Enviro/Calc AB cause i picked those classes for the "easy" GPA credit and worrying that colleges are ganna take that i am a wuss...

Seriously, that's heavy compared to what I have. Seriously, chill. Look into easier classes if possible. You'll regret your schedule March time.

Wow...you're worried that colleges won't like an AP class?

seriously, what's wrong with you?

*Wow...you're worried that colleges won't like an AP class?

seriously, what's wrong with you?*

Dude, my schedule IS the definition of wussy. So, don't insult those of us who like having free time/lives with your overambitious, high achieving schedule.

Mine did fine in the admissions process, thank you very much.

ok i am worried because i heard colleges, especially privates, look at the rigor of your senior year schedule and look down upon you if you dont take the hardest courses possible. i am saying this cause a lot of my friends are going to take Calc BC/AP Bio. also, ap enviro and calc ab i heard is a joke

calc ab is not a joke ..

That schedule is perfectly fine, even for elite schools.

Dude, paranoid much?

Unless you are some sort of math genius, Calculus AB is not a joke class. Seriously, you are going to hate that schedule come this time next year! It will be too much!

Sei nicht so paranoid! Ja, ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutsch. ;)

No, I think he has a legitimate point. It's a well-known fact that AP Enviro is a joke, at least compared to AP Bio, Chem, or Physics. I'm not sure whether colleges take this into consideration, though. And while Calc AB isn't as impressive as BC, at least you didn't take Stats!

depending on where you are applying and your intended major - I question AP Enviro. I assume you have already taken Biology, Chemistry and Physics.... any second year or AP courses in those subjects?

dude..

shut up

Seriously, it's fine. Engineering schools might prefer to see Calc BC or AP Bio/Chem/Physics, but that schedule's fine. It won't hurt you a bit.

If you know they are easy for GPA, so does a college [therefore colelge choice matters in making the evaluation]. On the other hand there is the AP test as a validator.

^^^
True, but the AP test will come long after admissions decisions.

I apologize in advance for saying this but...

It's people like you who make me not want to come here. Were you serious when you posted this thread? You have like 5 AP's and you're asking us if that is good or not? If you can't answer that question by yourself, maybe you shouldn't be going to college or even taking those classes.

Okay, I think everyone's overreacting here.

Simply put, you don't need to worry at all with that many APs. That's actually pretty rigorous for senior year.

yes i am being serious you fools. i want to major in business if you guys want to know. i havent taken physics but have taken bio and taking ap chem as of now.

ight sonny boy
