Senior Year Schedule?

-AP Physics
-Econ/AP Gov
-AP English
-Writing 121/122
-AP Photography
-Spanish 4
-Journalism
-AP Calculus

As far as rigor goes, would you consider this schedule competitive if I was to drop Physics? I've already taken Honors Physical Science, Bio, Chem, and AP Chem. I've never been "Science girl" so it would be a nice break. I'm pretty competitive though and I don't want to ruin my chances at a top University.

I'm thinking...
-NYU
-Columbia
-U Vermont
-George Washington
-UNC Chapel Hill
-UC Berkeley
-U Washington
-College of Charleston
-U Michigan

...and a few more that are ridiculously crazy...

Let me know! Thanks!

I think dropping AP Physics and replacing it with AP government is a good idea if you like AP government. But if you think you can handle the work and earn good grades, then there’s no stopping you from taking those courses.

They are competitive enough for the schools you have listed if that’s the most rigorous courseload you can take at the school. But make sure it’s also the most rigorous you can handle with crashing and burning.

Economics and AP Government are a semester each deal, so I’m already taking that. If I didn’t take AP Physics I’d probably take Theater 3/4 or an off-site.

Yeah, I’ve considered that… But I think I could handle it (just maybe not without impairing my mental health)
