I am wondering if this is a tough enough schedule that will challenge me and will look impressive on transcripts, but won’t burn me out for senior year:
AP Calc AB
AP US Government (1/2)
AP Macroeconomics (1/2)
AP Physics 1
AP Computer Science A
NJROTC 4 Honors
Do you have English too?
I would say that is rigorous but not ridiculous.
You need an English class (honors is fine).
If you’ve not reached level 3 or 4 in a foreign language add that. Otherwise you’re good.
I agree with @bopper and @MYOS1634. Definitely add an English, even if it is regular, because it’s better than having no English. (Honors and AP would be preferable, however.) Also definitely add a world language if you have not done three or four years. Otherwise, this is really good! Good luck in senior year!
Have a good day!
I have taken Honors English 1, 2, 3, and now AP English Language. I don’t see any reason to take AP Lit (no more credit as AP Language) and I also want to reserve more time for AP Calc and AP Physics (I am not a math oriented person). @anthonytheboy @MYOS1634 @bopper
You need an English class senior year, but it doesn’t have to be AP lit at all. It can be a regular senior seminar.
How did you take English 1-2-3 in two years - did you take one in middle School?
The basic rule is that you need an English and math class senior year unless your school doesn’t offer a class.
I took English 1 Honors in 8th grade as well as Honors Algebra 1 (that is how I’m able to take AP Calc next year).
