I am currently signed up to take ap calc, AP Chem, ap lit, and ap Spanish as well as anatomy honors, us government honors and economics honors. Is this a good schedule or will I be drowned in work ???
Probably depends on your teachers. Ap Lit a lot of people used sparknotes in my class. Calc and chem wasn’t bad. Spanish I would probably struggle in so I didn’t take, our school had actual native spanish-speaking students in AP spanish. Econ I found to be pretty easy too, gov has more reading assignments.
yikes ap chem. objectively, for us there definitely wasn’t a lot of work. however from my perspective, it was a killer mainly due to the fact that i couldnt seem to understand the concepts. so in terms of workload, it’s fairly light, but the concepts are quite difficult to understand.
i think you’ll do fine. honors will be a breeze and so would AP lit and AP spanish depending on your teachers.
but AP Chem is notorious for being one of the hardest AP classes. for me, the hardest part about it was all the homework I received which was every single day! averaging to about 10 problems a night and 30 problems on the weekend. just as long as you study for it, you won’t drown
If you’ve been exposed to honors and AP courses throughout high school, you should be fine. If you haven’t, good luck.
