senior year schedule

Hey everyone. I plan to apply ED to Wharton. Since my school is large (class size = 600), it is very hard to get all the classes you want.

My desired senior year schedule was:
AP Calc bc
AP stat
AP chem
AP lit
AP spanish
Economics (standard level, no honors or AP offered)/Business Organization and Management

However, AP Stat and AP chem do not fit, and neither do economics or BOM.
My choices are:

AP calc bc
AP stat
AP bio
AP lit
AP spanish
sociology/psychology

or

AP calc bc
AP stat
AP bio
Ap lit
AP spanish
AP gov

or

AP calc bc
AP stat
AP physics
AP lit
AP spanish
Econ/something else

Which do you think is the best option. SHould i go for the 6th AP with Gov, or is 5 okay? Will not taking economics because it didnt fit in my schedule be okay? (also, it isnt AP micro or macrol; it is the lowest level class possible)

Thanks for any advice

I'd go with your first option. Penn doesn't care if you take an economics course. AP Gov is completely useless, as Penn does not give you credit for it no matter what the score. Also, AP Physics... aren't you then required to take a lab at Penn? So make sure you'd want to do that if you were to pick that over bio...

I know penn may not particularly be concerned if you don't take economics, but would wharton?

Penn (and Wharton) don't expect you to have taken economics. In fact, they assume most high school econ classes suck, so only take it if you really want to.

In this case, you'd probably be best with more AP classes than non-AP classes (you know, the whole rigorous schedule thing). I'm not sure I understand your choices, but if you're choosing between physics and bio, it doesn't really matter to Wharton. AP Gov was required for us, but to penn it's probably a wash.

In short, take what you want to, and what you'll enjoy. That matters a lot more. (Also, I know you're applying ED but also figure out 2 other schools you'd consider applying to, look up their req's/credit, and evaluate them.)
