<p>If you don't get credit at your college for you AP test, is there a point to even take it? I mean, if it were teacher from whom you might later need a letter of rec., that could be an incentive. But it still won't affect admissions right?</p>
<p>The point now is to earn extra credits in college and save a little bit of money. Or to get electives over and out of the way.</p>
<p>Some people like being challenged.</p>
<p>I do, just not to the extent of some of the crazy people on here.</p>

jk. I like a challenge; I don’t consider a 3 hour test a thrilling one though.</p>
