Senior year

Hey all, I applied to UVA and I am wondering if the mid year grades will count alot.

I am currently ranked 1st in my class and have a 4.3something gpa, but I think I am going to get a B(an 89, really close to A so on transcript it will say 89) in one of my classes because the teacher is giving a monster AP mock exam. I am sure I will do ok, but I do not think it will be enough. Oh, I am taking also taking a fairly difficult courseload this year as well(gov school, 1 AP class, and 2 college classes)

So I guess my question is, would UVA look down upon a B or 2 if they are really close A's( they will know this because on my school transcript a numerical value is given)?

Thank you very much

You're stressing too much. One B will not make or break your application if you're ranked 1st in your class. Or else everyone is screwed. Haha.

haha, thanks i feel somewhat better now

Mid year grades don't have a big effect on your gpa. Mostly looking for senior slump. A B doesn't fall into that category.
