Is there any point in taking a few extra AP courses in during my senior year?

As long as your schedule isn't overloaded, there is a chance of getting college credit and preparing you for the more difficult work. So, go for it if you think you can.

yea. trust me. prepares you and give u credit so you don't have to take some classes in college.

My bad, I should rephrase that question. I was actually trying to decide between taking an AP course in my junior year/sophmore year, or give myself an open period and take the AP in my senior year instead.

I'd really appreciate some response since we have to decide our schedules soon...

I don't really understand what you are asking.... I mean if you are thinking you want to save ap for senior year then that is a bad idea, you should gradually ease into it and take all the ap's you want to rather than jumping in senior year

No see the thing is, I heard that the junior year was hard or something so...I was thinking of giving myself an open period to make life easier.
