Is there any point in taking extra AP's during your senior year? I mean, if you get an A at the end of the year, will colleges know?

If you pass the AP test you'll have a college class out of the way
!

Just don't end up going from 8 classes to like...4. One more year to go, stick with it, finish it strong.

Don't you have to send in a progress report (that's not the right terminology, but I can't think of it right now) to the colleges you got accepted to....and if your grades slip too much, they can rescind your acceptance...plus, if you take cake classes senior year, they will show up on your transcipt, and schools will look down on the fact that you were slacking off senior year.

yeah i wouldnt do any self study, but a strong schedule should still be something to aim at. I think 3 - 5 AP's and other interesting classes(not PE or cooking) would be acceptable.

Yeah, say I EA to H, get in, decide to go for sure before christmas. Do I pay $300 for APs? None of the credits would work really, and you'd probably want to retake a lot of the classes anyway, so is there a point in it? Waste money and time studying when you should be partying?

well if you have to pay for the exams than i see no point in taking them.

But suppose i get 5's in my AP classes, would that be added to my application? I mean...would colleges be able to see that before making their decision.

since AP grades do not come out until July that would be a no.
