senior year

what happens if my school sends up to the junior year transcript because our school just got a new system for all of the students so they dont have updated transcripts. even if they were all updated, my school sends up to the junior year grades then the senior year grades go out as "in progress." i guess if the schools asked for a mid year report they would get my senior grades after the 1st semester is over. but i don't see a mid year school report for penn. so does that mean they dont want my senior grades?

Penn uses the common application, which has a built in mid-year school report and final school report for the counselor to fill out when results are available.
Penn does want senior grades, though more as a checking mechanism to make sure you haven’t all of a sudden slipped dramatically.

oh okay, but they dont have like a set date i have to send the MYR by, right?

No, they don’t as far as I know. You might want to call up the admissions office and explain your situation and ask if a mid-year report is necessary (Penn will, at the very least, want your final school report if you get in).

okay, thank you so much!
