how does it work when they calculate your gpa because you only have until Nov. 30 to apply? do they even factor in your senior year?

Senior year is not factored in.

but will they still look at my progress? cuz im taking 3 AP classes and and every one of my other class is going to be weighted my senior year…

They just want to know what classes you’re taking. They don’t ask for grades throughout your senior year.

ok, but what if my average is like a 95 or 96, and i do really well in my senior year classes and my average gets bumped up to say 98, what would be my GPA?, and would they factor in my average going up while taking harder classes?

The GPA they see is whatever it is at the time you apply (more specifically, at the time your school sends out your transcripts). That’s it. So, in theory, if you applied late in the season (say, Dec. or January) they would see a GPA that includes the first quarter/half of your senior year. But otherwise, no your senior year grades won’t count. All that matters after that point is that you don’t flunk any classes in senior year. They don’t go back and re-check your GPA.

You should also note that, even if your GPA os trending upward, it is a bad idea to wait until December or January to apply.
