Senioritis after ED acceptance; do they care?

I’m applying ED to Penn, which means that the admissions officers will accept me (hopefully) before seeing my half-yr grade report. Do any of you guys know how much your grades have to drop to get a phone call to the school saying that they’re concerned about your grades? For example, if I got two Bs and three As would they care even if I had a 4.0 gpa before my half-yr grade report? Have any of you guys already at Penn had this situation occur to you?

Provided you get accepted ED, I think I can honestly say that they won't care. I had 3 Bs and 2 As senior year, and they didn't care at all. I've heard of Cs passing through too. Just worry about apps for now. :)

I would try to keep the grades at As for the first 2 mp just in case u dont get in. But after that, they dont care at all, as long as u have Bs. I know what you mean about senioritis though. Damn, I've got it bad.

don't be countin' those chickens just yet.
