Senioritis get me Rejected?

I'm currently a senior in high school. For the past 3 years (fresh-junior), I've had straight A's except 3 Bs. My unweighted GPA is 3.88 and weighted 3.65.
BUT... senioritis is crazzy!! I have 2 Bs out of 5 classes right now. AP Art History and AP Physics B. But all my classes are AP.
I'm applying to most Ivys and many of the highly competitive schools.
DO you think the 2 Bs in my midyear report will hurt me a lot? Will it mean automatic reject because I have 5 Bs?
How do 5 Bs look for ivys?
PLEASE HELP!! aalskfjlsaj T_T

2 Bs (if the rest are A-/A) probably wouldn’t look too bad, especially if they’re in APs. I wouldn’t really consider that to be senioritis. However, if you have Bs in all of your classes (AP or not), that probably won’t look so good.

How about if I get 4 A’s in all my a.p’s and an A in linear algebra/differential equations but I get one D (65) in Biology Projects (my elective minor)?

I thought I had senioritis bad. 5 B’s look pretty rough. I’m sure it won’t get you rejected from high competitive schools but if it’s a deciding factor you’re out of luck.

Oh and remember you don’t get the plus +.5 or whatever for taking an AP. The +.5 doesn’t get added on until you finish the course. Thats the way it works at my school and i think most schools

well college calculates your unweighted gpa where an A is a 4.0, B is a 3.0, etc. but most high schools weight honors and ap classes differently.

2 B’s aren’t going to get you killed. If they turn to C’s they might, so be careful, but don’t worry about that too much.

No D’s and C’s or at least a B+ average.

I agree with La montagne and 99 cents.

so 6 A’s and one C/D will kill me?

i think a D will definetely hurt…do u still have time to pull it up??

Yea but the thing is its based entirely on one paper. Also its an elective minor not a major. I am at a public elite a according to the Newsweek rankings. The D is in a elective minor. Although it will probably end up being a 70.

Top schools are always looking for a rising trend in grades. Unless there is a really good reason for having lower than normal grades (unusally rigorous courseload, as in much more rigorous than you’ve had in previous years, or an illness, or death in family) it does not look good to have senioritis this early in the year. Competition is so stiff for the top schools that something like this could impact an admission decision. On the other hand, I don’t know if a B in one or two classes would put you out of the running. I would work very hard on raising your grades, since it sounds like you are capable of doing so if you try a little harder. Will your teacher allow you to raise your grade with extra credit work?

I don’t think they care. It’s an academic class.

Well yea my courseload is much more rigorous than junior year.
junior year:Honors physics, honors english, bio projects
senior year: a.p englis comp, a.p micro, a.p calc ab, a.p chem, linear algebra/differential equations, macro ata local college, bio projects

in addition there is a sickness in my family

my grandmother who lives a block away is sick and hasnt been able to get out of bed for over a month. We spend a large amount of time over there taking care of her, theryby harming my schoolwork

What is a C in percent?

c=70 or 75 in our school.

Bump Bump.
