I promised myself I wouldn't catch it, but I guess I lied.

Senioritis: we'd fight for a cure, if we weren't so lazy.

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

yes.....i find high school very much meaningless at this point.... i want to graduate already! i don't even take pleasure in my IB clases anymore... screw IB classes! :(
from this moment on i disdain hs and look forward to college! ooo yeah :)

I planned to drop a few classes that were a complete waste of time but I counselor recently informed me colleges would look down upon it. Is this true? My AP classes are so pointless, we have DDR tournaments and connect four tournaments. This wouldn't be so bad, except I'm nearly failing because I've given up on the work.

Yeah, it'd look like you got lazy, which is partially true seeing as how you admit to senioritis.

Haha. I wish my classes would have cool tournaments as DDR or Connect Four. My government teacher sees us all wither away in senioritis and his cure is to lecture more, give us more quizzes and work us when we'd rather sleep.

so close to catching it...only 3 weeks until senioritis kicks in

I understand exactly what you guys are feeling. Were you accepted ED?

heh, i'm not even a senior and i have it. joy for me

vsm - lol. Well, you're going to enter your senior year with a lot of regret at your where you stand for college if it consumes you so early into your high school career. I joke, but you should watch out!

mariokindy - Even though I was accepted ED, senioritis was bound to get me. I think it got me during the summer.

nah, i was just kidding around. i'm actually a pretty hard worker.

Ahhh. It's been getting so bad for me lately! I'm just trying to hang on for the next 2 months, basically April when I hopefully hear that I'm accepted here with some good scholarship $ so I can go!:)

and some advice for juniors or others not seniors yet... get as much done in the summer or early in the year as you can. I know it sounds like a pain now, and I'm one of the biggest procrastinators ever, but something could come up and you'll be glad you finished or at least started some things earlier.

I second what cindy says!

easier said than done.......remember when we TRIED to start on those essays during summer...

i thought that after midyears were in that i could start slacking but my teachers are actually giving us more work.

anyways, keep your eye on the prize and keep on working! remember we've been in school for almost 12 years to get to where we want to go. don't screw 12 years of work by slacking off the last 5 months. let's go class of 06

on a related note, i would just like to state that i've had an acute case of senioritis since roughly the third grade.

No senioritis for me..hehe, or maybe Im just not aware that Im catching it.
