so i've stop doing all things school-related and hoping for acceptance on the 14th. the ironic part is that this trend continues despite the obviously marginal chance of a letter that begins with "congratulations..."

this pretty much means i'm screwed for school lol

yeah...my h.s. classes are a joke this year which i think contributes to senioritis....im taking a couple classes at the local university in subjects that interest me though, so as not to be totally brain-dead by the end of the year. also am doing more reading with my free time and doing some after school stuff like theater (which i am definitely not a superstar in) but i enjoy helping out anyway.

but yeah if i get in to harvard i think im going to skip school as much as possible, but the admin at my school is really anal about attendance, so i dunno

i appreciate my school so much
its so freakin easy, i get no hw and rarely have tests
so i do absolutely nothing and have the highest grades of my high school career

my classes are actually really hard also (taking 16 credit hours at UNT), and it's been very hard to study lately! and I have a physics final in an hour! gahh.

The A.P. classes at my school are very challenging, and I get endless hours of homework every night; rarely do students take more than two A.P. classes. Hopefully my years of hardwork will bring me an acceptance letter from Harvard!

As a junior last year, I knew I wasn't going to be able to avoid senioritis. However, I never knew I would come down with it so quick. I just want to get out of school! I mean, I already got accepted, so what's the point right? But don't worry, I know if I keep slacking that it can't be good, so I'm going to try and cure my senioritis and actually start trying!

my classes are killing me and my gpa, especially ap physics and bc. i mean, im not failing, but i am doing worse than ive ever done. i hate senioritis...im just not motivated anymore.
harvard if you take me i promise to study ap physics until my brain combusts! pretty pretty please!!!

I took 5 APs last year, two of which (Calc AB and Physics B) are seniors-only for, well, anyone who isn't me (lol), so I caught their senioritis all year. And then since my only non-AP classes weren't real classes (just Spanish and journalism), lol, mid-May through June was hardcore senioritis for me. And my first week of senioritis saw me going to Disney World. Nice! Now I'm a real senior and working my butt off. "Senioritis" is often wrongly termed.

I've basically had senioritis my whole life.

But, yeah, the math classes with seniors when you're not a senior induce some serious senioritis (especially once all the seniors leave and you're alone in class every day, thinking about how the seniors don't have to be there...). Anyway, senioritis is nothing new for me. :)

I've got THE WORST case of senioritis. I can't focus for a minute of studying! I have four AP classes (the current record at my school) and I've already got my first C this year. State school here I come!

Hey man, don't worry ;) Taking the hardest courseload at your school, plus the pressures of senior year, mean a C won't push you straight into state school ;)

Senioritis is killing me... and waiting for decisions has made class drag by sooo slowly. My grades haven't slipped, but I'm worried that my studying for finals - or lack thereof - will end up hurting me.

On another note - great to see all these Chicago / suburbs people. Hotpiece, why'd you leave the greatest city in the world (well, its the greatest during the summer, anyway)? Good luck to everyone, esp. the Chicago kids!!
