Okay, so I'm a lazy senior just waiting out the days til graduation. I've gotten into one of my top schools, waiting on my first choice still, but what more is there to do now? I take 4 AP classes, but because I like the challenge and the environment, not necessarily because I was thinking I could get college credit. At the schools I'm most interested in, the most they'll give for APs is elective credit, which I was going to use to minor in something else anyway. Most of my classmates are looking at state colleges that are going to give them lots of credits, possibly entering as a sophomore and all that, which is why so many of them are taking all the APs they can. Am I making a mistake in not taking any this year? I mean, I know they cost very little in comparison with private colleges tuition rates and all, but there's no way I could start as a sophomore anyway in the major I'm looking at, and it won't cover any of my general education courses, AND it seems like a waste of time and money.

Opinions?
