Seniors 2006!

^I can guess where you're from.

Stanford (reach)
Santa Clara University
University of Delaware
Carnegie Mellon
Villanova
And probably a couple more.

Basically, I'm applying to all out of state schools.

Major? Probably engineering of some sort, and my dream is to double with English.

well somebodynew, it shouldn't be too hard to guess where I'm from.

I mean, what are the chances that I live in Oregon and just happen to be applying to schools in the regions of MD, VA, etc.

You live in Silver Spring huh? I'm an hour away in Frederick, MD

Getting off topic, would you believe I have a friend who commutes from Frederick to Bethesda every day for school (G'Town Prep if you've heard of it)?

Oberlin ED (most likely)

major environmental studies
minor theatre

Clemson University
University of South Carolina-Columbia
University of South Carolina-Spartanburg
Winthrop University
Penn State University
Penn College of Technology

Computer/Information Sciences

Why go to south carolina?

Well, I want to go to South Carolina for some various reasons. First, I'm tired of the weather up here in Philly. It can be nice at times, but I prefer a much more warmer atmosphere. South Carolina is on a close latitude like Bermuda, where I was born and lived, so it seems close enough.

Second, my boyfriend is down there now. He's starting his sophomore year of college.

SC is a different culture from Philly, good luck.

Oh I know, I've visited down there before. I went to the Clemson University campus, and stayed in the Greenville area for a few days. Also was in Anderson for one day.

Columbia
Harvard
Pomona
Rice
Saint Mary's (CA)
Santa Clara
Stanford
UC Berkeley
UCSD
Yale

Biology/biochem, possible double major or minor in Russian

I still have no idea. I want to do English (creative writing), but my dad wants me to do business. So, I'm thinking international business with a minor in German, but I'm really bad at learning languages. :(

1--UT has my heart and soul, I really hope I get in as OOS

And the other contenders for wonderful me, in no order:
LSU
Louisiana Tech
U Washington
Babson College
Bentley College
Trinity University

of course I will be rejected to all of these. . . I find that CC has really dampened my self-esteem. . .

double major econ/german

Man all these people applying to such great schools.

Suny Bing
Suny Geneseo
Suny Albany
Suny Oswego

Major: History/Psychology

what are some of your stats europegirl

Avalon, finally! Another person applying to Santa Clara...but I'm guessing that's your safety school.

mrsandmani, I don't know if I should even humiliate myself in that manner. But if you really want to know---1260 or 1890 SAT, 29 ACT, 5 AP Eng Lang, 5 APUSH, Co-Editor-in-Chief of school newspaper (this year), other journalistic involvement, hardest courseload in my school, 3.9, 8/139, okay/solid ECs, nice variety of club involvement, National Honor Society, work experience, 100+ volunteer hours.

So you can see why I feel ssooooo inferior to all these people on here. But I've learned so much here, so I'm going to stick around.

I actually won't be rejected from La. Tech and LSU, I will recieve a state-scholarship offer (called Tuition Opportunity Program for Scholars, or TOPS, where you can get so much of an LA college free if you get a certain ACT score, do so much high school work). Centenary College in Shreveport is trying to convince me to apply, they've called me and emailed me, but I'm not going to a school of 800 kids! It's nice to feel loved, though. At least some school wants me!

well thats not bad at all...:) cheer up

You're applying to Ann Arbor, are you in-state? I might apply there as a reach school. . . it's very well-rounded and a great public university, which is what I'm looking for (though you should hear my English teacher say, sniff "Well, SOME people want to go to large, public universities where they're just a number, but, you know, liberal arts colleges are really the best education available.").
